Nurture Craft Group
Our Nurture Craft Group meet on Wednesdays 10-12pm, and make items such as; cards for all occasions, string holders for the garden, paper mache, and much more. There is an opportunity to select the craft activities of your own choice too.
Knitting Group
We have a “Knit & Natter” group, who meet on Thursday afternoons 1pm – 3pm. New members are always welcome and tea, coffee and biscuits are available. We ask for a small donation, if you wish to do so.
Allotment
The Allotment has been going for over 10 years now, with produce grown given to our Community Fridge and shared amongst the allotment volunteers. We are really looking for some new Volunteers for 2024. The plot is in a prime condition, with a lot of work over the last few years now paying off, making it a lot easier to maintain. We have a Poly Tunnel for growing from seeds and also plants such as; tomatoes, lettuce and cucumbers. The plot has 20 raised beds for growing various vegetables, soft fruit and we also have a few apple and plum trees. We have won prizes over the last 4 years for our plot, awarded by the Town Council.
